Introduction to Somatic Movement Therapy

Service Description

This micro course for LMTs is designed to introduce therapists to the working principles of Somatic Movement Therapy. Somatics is a field where the experience of the subject is central. This course will introduce methods for hands-on cueing, use of imagery, experiential anatomy, and codified and expressive movement to help clients with a range of functional concerns, pain, and physical integration of mental and emotional concerns.
